Pixtel Shapes is a modular concept for the room that lets users themselves create: walls, furniture, sound dampers, figures or decorations. In an office space, in a work room, or at home, Pixtel Shapes is an encouragement to play that generates creativity and movement.
In the rooms where we live and work, furniture and decoration can be more than comfortable and beautiful. They can encourage us in our own creation, providing the opportunity to influence the environment around us so that it becomes full of variety and interactive. Pixtel Shapes can meet various practical needs for seating opportunities, protection from outside observation, acoustical absorption, or room dividers, while at the same time letting people leave their office chairs to play for a few minutes and discover a whole new function!
I have worked in collaboration with Abstracta in Lammhult to be able to produce Pixtel Shapes industrially, with the knowledge of materials and techniques that measure up the expectations of products in a public environment.
